Winter Wonderlights was fast becoming one of Sovereign Hill’s biggest events. But it wasn’t until we introduced the kid friendly antagonist, the Gingerbread Man, that visitation records began to break.

Meier in partnership with Jacky
Winter and animation by Flutter.
The campaign brought the
Gingerbread Man to life in comms,
as a mascot and of course the lights.
In the second instalment of the
Gingerbread Man TVC he goes up
against Sovereign Hill’s Red Coats.
The Gingerbread Man was seen all
over town from breakfast TV, all over
social and even the news.
Over the campaign’s three years, the
event broke daily visitation records for
a museum 50 years old.
