TS creative director wins prestigious global MBA scholarship

News -
Town Square creative director Brendan Day has been awarded a prestigious scholarship to study the global Executive MBA program at the Berlin School of Creative Leadership.

Day is the first Australian to win the Lürzer’s Archive Creative Leadership Scholarship which attracts entries from across the world. Lürzer’s Archive is a resource for advertising professionals and each year invests in the next generation of creative minds through a scholarship to the Berlin School of Creative Leadership.

The Berlin School is the world’s first educational institute dedicated solely to the development of creative business leadership. It was founded in 2006 with the launch of the first global Executive MBA program which was tailor-made for creative industries.

Day has worked at the full-service Melbourne independent for more than ten years, working on clients including APT Group, Visit Ballarat and Sovereign Hill.

As part of the Executive MBA program he will travel to Berlin; Shanghai; Tokyo; New York and Berkeley, California; to complete a series of modules in a diverse group of global participants. The program is built on the belief that creativity and leadership are key for any business to succeed and innovate.

Harry Corsham, director at Town Square added: “Brendan’s had his eye on the Berlin School for quite a while now, and we’re proud to have the opportunity to support him in turning this aspiration into reality. We love to see home-grown talent flourish and we congratulate him on securing the scholarship. We look forward to supporting him on this exciting global adventure and applying his creative leadership expertise to help our clients win.”
