In 2017, the Gingerbread Man unleashed chaos at Sovereign Hill. In 2018, the Red Coats were on to his wicked ways. And in 2019, the Gingerbread Man and the Red Coats are back, facing off in an almighty battle.

It’s On!

Once again, the July school holidays and cold weather means celebrating a magical Christmas in July at Sovereign Hill with the spectacular Winter Wonderlights.

This year, the Gingerbread Man brings his gingerbread friends and takes centre stage as they tackle the Red Coats in a snowball fight. For the third year, Town Square has developed this campaign for TV, radio, out of home and digital with each year getting bigger and slightly more bonkers.

Sip your warm cider or hot chocolate and meander around the food stalls, making sure to try the raspberry drop wagon wheels at the Hope Bakery. Main Street will transform right before your eyes with projections on every building, kilometres of fairy lights, carols and make-believe snow.
